NACHC Policy and Issues Forum (March 14-17, 2018)
The interim CEO Jim Eubanks, Board Chair George L. Williams, Jr., Vice-Chair Yvonne Davis, Secretary Patricia Atkinson and Board Member Georgette Washington attended the NACHC Policy and Issues Forum in Washington, DC March 14-17, 2018. Highlights of the trip included numerous beneficial Education Sessions. General Sessions included guest speakers Alex Azar, Secretary of Health and Human Services, Jim Luisi, Chair of the Board, NACHC and Tom Van Coverden, President and CEO, NACHC. The South Carolina FQHCs also met with staff from Senator Tim Scott’s office, Senator Lindsey Graham’s office and Representative Tom Rice’s office. Key topics included CHC Federal Grant Funding, Medicaid, Behavioral Health and Substance Use Disorder Treatment, Telehealth and 340B Drug Discount Program.
HCPSC Receives Got Health Award (September 25, 2017)
Health Care Partners of South Carolina is very pleased and proud to be recognized by "First Choice by Select Health" for our commitment to keeping our communities healthy. Our Board of Directors and CEO recently were presented with their prestigious Got Health program award.
HCPSC National Health Center Week Celebration (August 18, 2017)
We held a great event at our Marion, SC office this past Friday commemorating National Health Center Week and National Consumer Board Member Day. We had over 500 participants, which includes those who participated in the free health screenings outside, those who took advantage of the health care services inside, and those who just came out to take advantage of all the fun events, free food, entertainment and school supplies donated by our Managed Care Organizations. Very proud of our HCPSC team, our sponsors and our partners. Thanks to all!

Red Nose Day aims to end child poverty by raising money and awareness for kids in the U.S. and around the world.

Welcome Natali Amaradasa (January 23, 2017)Natali Amaradasa is a board certified Family Nurse Practitioner with 11 years of nursing experience. Natali is originally from Sri Lanka, but received her credentials from Coastal Carolina, Conway, SC, the Medical University of SC, in Charleston, SC and Georgetown University in Washington, DC. Her career focus is health promotion to lead patients to more active, healthier, and more educated life styles. She enjoys hiking, yoga, dancing and “retail therapy”. Natali Amaradasa is excited to be able to see new patients in our Conway office.
Welcome Dean Vicario (December 1, 2016)Dean Vicario, Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner, with 15 years of experience in Family and Pediatric medicine, as well as Urgent Care and Weight Management. Dean is originally from New York, but received his education and training at Clemson University. Dean is certified in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) and is a member of the AANP. Welcome Janet Cannon (October 10, 2016)Janet Cannon joins Health Care Partners of South Carolina as Data Analytics Manager with nearly ten years' experience in the health care industry. Janet's focus is in database administration, programming and web development. Janet has been able to combine her backgrounds in database administration and programming to develop web based applications that are functional and progressive. Her talents, skills and abilities help patients benefit by collecting and applying thorough data to the health care process through grant opportunities, more informed providers, and better equipped management teams.
Janet is a home town girl from Conway and can't imagine living anywhere else. She is married to Chris Cannon, attends Pisgah United Methodist in Dog Bluff, and is the mother of two. She will tell you that God placed her exactly where he wanted her making what she does even more rewarding.
