Approximately half of the patients provided primary care at Health Care Partners of South Carolina's centers are uninsured. Many need specialty care (eye exams, cardiology consults, urology consults, endocrinologists etc) or additional diagnostic services (CT or MRIs). Unfortunately, there is no funding available to pay for these and many other services. Partnering with Health Care Partners of South Carolina is a way for the community's healthcare professionals to help fill these needs. Local providers can partner for patient's reduced rate encounters at the specialist's office, donate a certain number of visits monthly or provide a particular service for the center. Partnering providers must be Board Certified and approved by the Chief Health Officer.
