Maternal Mental Health Awareness Week | May 5–11, 2025
Every day, millions of moms silently battle anxiety, depression, and emotional stress. During Maternal Mental Health Awareness Week, we stand with them — listening, learning, and doing more to ensure no mother feels alone or unseen.
Why This Week Matters
1 in 5 women experience a maternal mental health condition during or after pregnancy. These aren’t rare. They aren’t signs of weakness. And they shouldn’t be taboo. Yet many mothers go undiagnosed or untreated due to stigma, lack of access, or simply not knowing where to turn.
This week, HRSA and healthcare providers across the country are amplifying a clear message: maternal mental health is essential health.
What We’re Doing
At Health Care Partners of South Carolina, we’re committed to supporting moms at every stage — from prenatal visits to postpartum care and beyond. Our OBGYN team, located at 243 Singleton Ridge Rd, Conway, SC 29526, provides safe, supportive care for mothers experiencing mental health challenges before, during, and after pregnancy.
We screen for postpartum depression, offer referrals for counseling, and walk beside mothers who are struggling with anxiety, trauma, or overwhelm. If you need to talk, we’re here. You can reach us directly at 843-248-4700.

How You Can Help
- Check in with the moms in your life. A simple “how are you really doing?” goes a long way.
- Share resources — many moms don’t know what’s out there.
- Speak openly about maternal mental health. The more we talk about it, the more we normalize it.
Let’s Keep the Conversation Going
