Health Care Partners of South Carolina (HCPSC) visited two local schools in the Conway area to help students start the 2025–2026 school year prepared and confident. Led by Santina Mayo, CEO of HCPSC, members of our outreach team stopped by Conway High School and Waccamaw High School to distribute 90+ clear bookbags to students.
“Every student deserves to feel seen, supported, and ready to learn,” said Santina Mayo, CEO of HCPSC. “A simple bookbag can remove a barrier and send a message: your community believes in you. We’re honored to partner with our local schools and invest in our future right here at home.”
Back-to-school essentials can add up for families. Providing school-approved bookbags at no cost helps students show up ready—putting Health With Heart into action in our hometowns.
This effort is part of HCPSC’s ongoing commitment to the communities we serve. In recent years, our team has supported back-to-school initiatives across multiple districts with supplies, health education, screenings, and community events. We believe in our students—and in the power of local partnerships to help them thrive.
